If you’re interested in my work as a Park Ranger, including compiling a Transit Study, revising Florida’s State Wildlife Action Plan, writing standards-based curriculum, and my Master’s project, you can find me on LinkedIn.
From the family in the high rise apartment with a balcony to the single parent in an unsafe neighborhood, not everyone can participate in the “get outside” movement. It’s not as easy as a hashtag. But I do believe we can work together to find solutions and options. My own son, Jack, has a rare spinal disorder that keeps us from experiencing the outdoors like most families. We struggle with finding options for our family, and I can relate to those who want to get outside but can’t. My blog, Nature Girl in a Technical World, follows our family’s journey as we explore the realities of a nature-loving family who can’t play the way we want.
My experience in both technical writing and creative writing can be used for you, too! Email me at sandy (at) naturegirltechnicalworld (dot) com with any questions or proposals you have. I would be more than happy to discuss your project by phone or by email.
I look forward to hearing from you,
